Count on me Singapore x)happy happy birthday singapore! i love you, though you have some flaws and more...x)
yesterday i had ballet 3 half hours straight.. was pooped already after pre-el class.. then later grade 7 we did barre for a short while.. learnt centre scarf work. i wonder why class finishes so fast even though we did things for short while. haa. scarf dance is nice.. and natty lent me the ballet book. not bad la.. its like the one i borrowed from the library last time.. and met with phoebs again after ballet . lols. seeing each other so often now..
then after ballet it was a sudden decision made to go to marina square to catch the fire weoks at 12. couldnt decide whther to go cus i was kinda tired and no one else was coming, other than dad. and i got a new lemonade bottle.. xD haha.
and the worst part was my hp went dead. bahh. borrowed natss phone to call dad..
we stopped at prince edward road and had a long trip. from tanjong pagar mrt to marina bay, hopped on 400A to the carnival, cus the roads were blocked. there were plenty of ppl at the carnival.. fir aws already over there singing,... and we missed ps. khongs performance.. booo. sadd. found a seat. and then i was
bored listening to k one and the bloody new band 183 or 138 club (whateverr. i dont know them.) so i took out the ballet book and started reading. half an hour close to midnight, finally rui en and taufik came out to perform. Rui en's voice is real goood. i really like this year's national day theme song. wahh. and then suddenly i spotted this guy (wearing an orange shirt and the blue-ligthting specs) which was such a clown! damn funny can! he was doing the dance actions during the chorus of the song. haha. told my dad. he laughed. and then later after the song finished the crowd applaused and later the ppl seating in our stand also applaused and cheered for the guy! LOL. damn funny. but too bad i hadnt any cam. haha. tanya chua also sang the previous theme song.
20 secs to 12 midnight. all of us counted down to 3,2,1 and the fireworks started and sco played national day music. 15 mins of fireworks was brilliant. was a long time since i last saw one.. mhmm. good. went back. reached home at 1 . so pooped.
and thank God for fulfilling that promise he made. forgiveness. how wonderful is this . God's love never fails.
and yes, count on me singapore. i will pray on behalf of the ppl of this land :))
